2009 is nearly upon us and the choir has great plans.

Its first concert is planned for late May, early June and will be a sort of "Stepping Out" concert for the choir. The choir plans to go popular with modern show music and that from well known artists such as Elton John, Simon and Garfunkel and others.

2009 sees the 250th anniversary of Handel's death so the choir is planning a September/October concert of famous Handel choral music (not "The Messiah", though) and arias.

The end of the year sees Christmas again and the choir will hold its end-of-year concert in early December. Who knows, you may see the choir at Christmas In the Park again!
